Andy Thanos is a technology and security expert with over 35 years of experience. After serving in the U.S. Army, Andy studied computer programming and developed expertise in reverse engineering. He began working in the semiconductor industry in 1995. For the past 18 years, he has been with Cisco, where he is a Principal Hardware Engineer specializing in hardware security architecture and research. During his tenure at Cisco, Andy has worked on numerous cybersecurity projects and serves on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Cybersecurity Advisory Council. He is also active in the non-profit community, serving on the Board of the San Mateo County Astronomical Society and volunteers at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
