Dr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra is a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Telecommunication and Technology Catalunya (CTTC), Barcelona, Spain, with over a decade of international research experience. His core expertise lies in quantum communication, free-space optical (FSO) systems, and satellite-based quantum and classical communication links. He has made significant contributions to the design, development, and experimental demonstration of advanced discrete-variable quantum key distribution (DV-QKD) and entanglement-based QKD testbeds, Al for quantum communication , addressing both theoretical and practical challenges in secure communication systems. Dr. Mishra has an outstanding scholarly record, with 140 peer-reviewed publications, over 3,900 citations, and an h-index of 33, reflecting the strong impact and visibility of his research within the global scientific community. His work spans high-impact journals and leading international conferences, advancing next-generation secure communication technologies. In recognition of his scientific influence and productivity, Dr. Mishra has been listed among the world’s top 2% scientists, an acknowledgment of sustained excellence in research. He actively contributes to the academic community as an editor for prominent journals, including IEEE Sensors Journal, Scientific Reports, and Discover, where he plays a key role in maintaining high standards of peer review and scholarly dissemination.
