Bio: “Adi Makmal holds a BSc in Computer Science and Philosophy from the Hebrew University, followed by an MSc and PhD from the Weizmann Institute. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Innsbruck and a role as a machine learning researcher at Microsoft, she now leads the Quantum Computing and Machine Learning group at Bar-Ilan University’s Faculty of Engineering. Her research specializes in quantum computing, hybrid classical-quantum algorithms, and quantum machine learning.”
